Finally! Fully Compostable Coffee Bags are Here

They are made using a unique ‘Natureflex’* film lining and paper outer and finally provide the true eco-friendly solution we have been looking for.

Our 250g and 125g coffee bags are now:

  • 100% compostable and
  • 100% biodegradable

You can compost these bags in your home compost bin and they will fully decompose within 10 weeks. Please see picture showing the breakdown cycle.

As old stocks run out we will add more compostable bags to our range.

*Natureflex films are based strongly on renewable resources (wood pulp sourced only from plantations). Natureflex films have been fully tested and are certified to the European (EN13432) norm for compostable packaging. For more details please visit our suppliers website: Charlotte Express.

It’s not just our bags that are fully biodegradable but now our takeaway cups are too!
